{"id":7407,"date":"2019-07-02T04:32:00","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T08:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fadingstar.mx\/?p=7407"},"modified":"2024-01-15T18:52:27","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T18:52:27","slug":"the-5-cs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v4.fadingstar.mx\/2019\/07\/02\/the-5-cs\/","title":{"rendered":"The 5 C&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The five Cs (confidence, confession, conviction, conversion, and continuance) were the process of life changing undertaken by the life changer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confidence<\/strong>: the new person had to have confidence in you and know you would keep his secrets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Confession<\/strong>: honesty about the real state of a persons life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conviction<\/strong>: the seriousness of his sin and the need to be free of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conversion<\/strong>: the process had to be the persons own free will in the decision to surrender to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continuance<\/strong>: you were responsible as a life changer to help the new person become all that God wanted him to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only God could change a person, and the work of the life changer had to be done under God\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Check out my \u201cmisc\u201d blog for \u201cHow the book Alcoholics Anonymous came about\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 excerpt \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Well, God moves in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform.
